LAO KOREA COMMUNITY is a practical information and local community platform for Lao people living in Korea or preparing for life in Korea. We aim to explain everyday topics in a way that is easy to follow, from first-arrival preparation to transportation, hospitals, housing, mobile services, shared-living rules and seasonal worker life. The site also provides community spaces where users can ask questions by region and learn from one another's experiences.

What information is available

Operator-written Korea-life and seasonal-worker guides are designed to provide context, steps and practical checks rather than only short summaries. The Korea-life language section is intended to cover expressions that can be used in hospitals, workplaces, transportation and other everyday situations. Regional community boards and Q&A allow users to share questions and experiences from daily life in Korea. LAO MARKET is a separate operator-managed area where users can view new products and submit purchase requests; online payment is not currently processed directly on the site.

Operator content and user posts are different

Information articles written by the operator are independently organized for Lao users in Korea and do not reproduce entire articles from other media. Community posts and Q&A, however, may contain the personal experiences and opinions of individual members. Please keep that difference in mind when using information for an important decision.

Scams, illegal job placement, gambling, privacy violations, harmful product promotion and repeated spam are not permitted. Posts that violate the community rules may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be restricted in cases of repeated or serious violations. Users should avoid posting sensitive information such as passport numbers, passwords, verification codes or banking security information in public areas.

Contact and correction requests

For site problems, content correction requests, privacy or account requests, and post reports, users can contact the operator privately through WhatsApp from the Contact page. This support route can be used without registering on the site, and inquiries can be sent 24 hours a day. General questions that are safe to share with other users can be posted in the public Q&A section.
